The Porocell™ carrier matrix is unique ly suited for providing a 3-dimensional environment for mammalian cells. The matrix is highly porous (> 95 % porosity) and provides a layered cavernous structure. The matrix is highly permeable from the top but only slightly permeable from the bottom. This allows cells to be retained in the matrix and to seed efficiently on the matrix surface.

The Porocell carrier is available with three different coatings:

  • Collagen
  • Polylysine
  • Uncoated

Custom coatings can be provided upon request.
